Created in 1802 as an “experiment in acclimatisation“, this superb collection of broad-leaved trees and conifers from all over the world forms a magnificent back-drop toa a medieval château.
Fans of sequoias (red-wood) will be very impressed.
Open : 1/03 to 15/06 and 15/09 to 15/11 daily except Tuesday, 2pm - 6pm. And from 16/06 to 14/09 daily 10.30am - 6.30pm. Unguided visiting : $4. Young people (6-18) €1,50. Groups (15+) guided tour with prior booking €5/pers. and unguided visit €3/pers. BY CAR (map)

Sculpture and Nature. This park of this 16th and 17th château is a veritable open-air sculpture gallery. 50 brozes, marbles, ceramics and mosaics by the greatest modern artists stand in a landscaped park and a classi French garden edged with beech trees.
