1878-1880 Attends the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, where he becomes friends with the artist Frank Duveneck. Travels in Europe, notably in Polling in Bavaria, to Florence and Venice.
1881-1885 Lives for two years in Cincinnati then in Boston.
1885 Stays in Barbizon.
1887 Stays and paints in Giverny.
1888 Stays in Florence
1889 Returns in Boston. Teaches at Wellesley College. Exhibits bregulary at the St. Botolph Club and at the Watercolor Society of Boston. |
