LA MAISON DE MADAME BAUDY
Madame Véronique Perdrix
3 rue Blanche Hoschedé-Monet
Mobile : 06 60 17 00 09
This house belongs at the end of the 19th century with Mrs BAUDY,
which received it in donation of his father.
It holds, some steps of its house, a refreshment bar-grocer, it is there that in 1886 the first American painters in search of a lodging present themselves. Attaching personality, Angelina BAUDY appears generous, completely devoted with its customers and with a remarkable direction of the business. As of the installation of the colony of artists, the house becomes an expansion of the hotel BAUDY, reserved to some privileged painters :
Théodore ROBINSON, Arthur George COLLINS, Vaclav RADIMSKY, etc...
For this time, the house has remained property of family BAUDY.
