Potager-Acquigny-2015Water punctuates the landscape and invites the visitor to stroll along the various rivers- sometimes agitated by the big cascades, sometimes peaceful on the banks of the river coiled serpentine, sometimes warm and sequenced around the large vegetable garden. The garden is surrounded by walls built of warm hued bricks and is embellished by medicinal and culinary plants as well as flowerbeds , both edible and ornamental , under the gaze of the aged trellised pear trees.
The Orangery, with its collection of citrus trees and trees from the five continents which flourish throughout the park, accentuates the exotic character of the grounds.
The Renaissance Chateau never ceases to surprise with its unique multifaceted style.
