Giverny | Bed and Breakfast | Le Moulin des Chennevières
The Moulin des Chennevières is located just a short walk from Claude Monet’s House and Gardens as well as from the Museum of the Impressionism. The origins of the mill date back to the 17th century, when it was a mill for grinding grain. In 1850 the American painter Stanton Young transformed the mill into a home with a large painting studio. The artist Theodore Robinson painted numerous pictures of the mill which have been exhibited all over the world. Today the Moulin des Chennevières is a comfortable country house surrounded by a park covering 3 hectares.
- A copious breakfast is served in the dining room or, weather permitting, in the garden on the banks of the river running through the property
